COVID-19 Safety

GRAPEVINE PRESENTS COVID INFORMATION – NATIONAL EVENT

Grapevine Gathering regards the safety of all those who attend our festival as our number 1 priority. Grapevine Gathering will occur in a COVID safe environment and follow all advice provided by each state health authority.

State Health directions are influencing the site layout - please keep an eye out on our socials for more details as the event gets closer.

  • If you’re unwell, stay home.
  • If you feel unwell, or are showing symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home and contact a medical professional for further advice.
  • Please ensure that your tickets have the correct name, phone number and email address on them. To update these, please email cheers@grapevinegathering.com.au
  • For more information on the Government's management of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, please visit - https://www.australia.gov.au/
  • If you have tested positive for COVID-19, or are awaiting a test result during the event dates for Wildlands Weekender, please contact cheers@grapevinegathering.com.au and we will be able to provide you with a ticket for a future event, or a refund. Evidence of a COVID-19 test will be required in this situation.

COVID-19 At the Event

Whilst attending Grapevine Presents, all patrons, staff and contractors will be required to adhere to all state health directives as well as all local, state and federal laws.

  • Please make sure to social distance and stay 1.5 meters away from your fellow festival goers.
  • You are permitted to wear a health mask, however you will need to remove it to confirm your identity at the gate on entry, at the bar and if/when requested by Event Staff.
  • If you feel at any time that you or someone's else's health or safety is threatened, please advise the closest staff member, security guard or police member.
  • Failure to comply with health measures or directives given by either local, state or federal governments, or Event Staff, may result in eviction without the right to reenter or to obtain a refund.
  • In case of Evacuation, please follow directives of venue & Event Staff and all emergency services personnel.
  • Patrons have the right to refuse a search, contact trace verification or health check, however those that do so acknowledge they will be excluded (through refusal of entry) or removed from the event without a refund.
  • - Please stay home if you are unwell or experiencing any cold or flu symptoms no matter how mild*
    - Please stay home if you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19*
    - Please stay home if you have tested positive for COVID-19*
    - Please stay home if you have travelled overseas or have been in a declared COVID-19 hot spot in the past 14 days*
    - If you begin to develop symptoms during the event please make your way to the First Aid Health tent immediately.
  • *Note that a medical certificate may be required if you are seeking a refund due to illness or a COVID related issue. Inability to attend due to illness of any kind is not basis for a refund. There would have to be exceptional circumstances.

COVID-19 Related Postponement

If, due to increased government restrictions, the event cannot take place as planned, it will not be cancelled. It will be rescheduled, a date will be announced at the time of postponement, if required.

  • All tickets will be automatically transferred to the new event date.
  • If you cannot attend the new date, refunds WILL be offered at that time. More information will be provided to all ticket holders in this situation.
  • If you have tested positive for COVID-19, or are awaiting a test result during the event dates for Grapevine Gathering, please contact cheers@grapevinegathering.com.au and we will be able to provide you with a ticket for a future event, or a refund. Evidence of a COVID-19 test will be required in this situation.

COVID-19 Related Capacity Reduction

Grapevine Gathering has been planned with the best health advice available at the time. If we are required to reduce capacity, the following will occur.

  • The first purchased tickets up to the allowable capacity will still be valid.
  • All other tickets will automatically be transferred to our next Grapevine Gathering event
  • If your ticket is transferred to the new date and you cannot attend that date, you WILL be able to request a refund.
  • If your tickets remain valid for the current dates and you cannot attend, unfortunately refunds will not be offered. You can resell your tickets through Tixel.

COVID-19 Additional Information

We acknowledge the incredible and critical importance of ensuring the health and safety of all attendees and the broader public, and the event will proceed only if there is complete confidence it is safe to do so. Grapevine Gathering is in regular communications with the relevant local and state authorities and COVID-19 Safety Plans have been prepared for each individual city.


All events will be compliant with directions of each state’s Health Department. We can assure you that we are committed to meeting the highest level of health and safety protocols for the duration of your experience from arrival to departure. Should any of the events be unable to proceed on the original advertised date, they will be moved to their respective planned backup dates.


Due to COVID 19, some restrictions or impositions may be forced upon us at the last minute. This could include things like the seating arrangements, limitations to queues, items that can and cannot be brought into the venue, social distancing measures, time changes, artist changes and so on. Please continually check this EVENT INFO page and our other communications platforms such as our social media pages, and please keep an eye out for email or SMS communication in the days prior to the event.

Arrival & Entry

On arrival at Grapevine, please proceed to the front gates in an orderly manner with your digital ticket ready or printed ticket ready to show volunteers on the gate. If your ticket is on your phone, please ensure you download the ticket or screenshot it before the event as reception on site can be limited.

If you are arriving on a bus please ensure you remember where it has dropped you off so you know where to go at the end of the event.

Getting There

Grapevine Presents is held at Rochford Wines Yarra Valley — 878-880 Maroondah Hwy, Coldstream VIC 3770

By Bus

Grapevine will be selling return bus tickets, departing from Federation Square, Ringwood Station and Frankston Station.

All buses depart towards Grapevine from your selected location at your selected departure time.

All buses depart from the event back to your selected departure location as they fill up if you'd like to leave early or else at the end of the event from 10pm.

By Private Bus/Van

Many partygoers organise a party bus / private van. If you intend on doing this, you will need to purchase a party bus / private van pass. Only one pass is needed per vehicle. Head to the main ticketing page to purchase.

By Car

It is also possible to drive in your own car to the festival. There will be free parking available on site.It is also possible to drive in your own car to the festival however there will be limited free parking available on site. There will also be designated pickup and drop off zones.

By Taxi/Uber

If you plan on traveling by Taxi or Uber, please remain in your vehicle until you arrive at, the designated drop off zone.

It is recommended that you have another form of transport organised for the end of event. Due to the location of Grapevine, there will not be many taxis/Ubers available.

What to Bring

To ensure your day at Grapevine runs smoothly, it is recommended that you bring along:

  • Tickets and valid ID (Name MUST match)
  • Cash and cards
  • Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat
  • Portable phone charger - for all your happy snaps.
  • A small bag
  • Good vibes

Banned Items

Alcohol, glass, food, soft drinks, metal cutlery, bottle openers, cans, more than 100ml of liquid (sunscreen, perfume, makeup), hydration packs or bladders, skateboards, milk crates, containers of liquid fuel, water pistols, weapons, illegal drugs, fireworks, fire twirling devices, flares, professional recording devices, laser lights, studded clothing apparel, any other items considered illegal or dangerous, animals, umbrellas, eskys, backpacks larger than an A4 piece of paper, shopping trolleys, camping chairs, deck chairs, bean bags, air beds, tables, tents, sun shades, aerosols. Attempting to bring these banned items into the event may result in confiscation or denied entry.

Parking

There will be parking on site, parking tickets are available when you purchase your admission ticket.

Disability Info

Grapevine strives to make the event accessible for everyone, however, please be mindful that the event is set upon natural terrain and is at times uneven.

Medical & Wellbeing

There will be full medical facilities available at Grapevine Gathering from a state accredited first aid provider. Their tent will be easily visible on site. If you have any trouble finding our first aid tents, don’t hesitate to ask one of our friendly staff for assistance.
